The ultimate crash bar for the RD03 and RD04, manufactured in the UK by Rugged Roads.

Not to be confused with any other manufacturers’ crashbars, these are the best protection you can fit to your Africa Twin.

These bars have been developed and tested in the real world, to offer the strongest possible solution to protecting your bike.

The bars will not collapse inwards and damage the radiators or oil cooler
With the additional side bars, the risk of damaging your fairings or engine is greatly reduced.

The bars are mounted to the original frame using 6mm laser cut brackets to ensure maximum strength when fixing to the front frame down tube – no other bars offer this much strength in the mounting brackets.

• 32mm diameter lower tube
• 22mm diameter upper tube
• 22mm diameter additional side bars

All brackets and a comprehensive fitting kit is supplied with the crashbars along with fitting instructions.

With the crashbars fitted you are still able to remove the front side fairings.

These crashbars will only fit the Africa Twin XRV650 RD03 and XRV750 RD04

Fitted these to my RD04 some weeks ago. Very solid quality, relatively easy to fit and well engineered. You can remove the fairings and bashplate without unscrewing the whole crashbar, which is great when you need to get to the engine.

I recently dropped my bike doing about 60 kmh going over an oil patch in a corner and the bar held up very well. Even though it did a good few meters of sliding over the tarmac, the crashbars extended outer bar held the bike up, leaving the rest of the fairing and even the handlebars almost untouched. Couldn't believe it when I picked it up.

Highly recommend these to anyone, they not only look great but do an oustanding job when you need it most! I've had a few different bars and these are by far the best out there.

Ordered the Crash Bars and they were delivered very quickly, so well packaged that my dog was kept busy playing with the bubble wrap while I fixed these to my bike. I enlisted the help of a friend (recommended) and the job took about an hour to complete, instructions were clear and concise. The bars themselves were extremely well engineered with very precise tolerances making them relatively simple to fit. A nice touch was the free black rugged road stickers that added a nice touch offset by the white bars. who wouldn't want to advertise a good quality company on their pride and joy! Highly recommended.
