Touratech Comfort Seat Rider Fresh Touch LOW- CRF1000L

Honda's design for a large touring enduro, as equipped from the factory, does provide essentially continuous comfort over long distances for both rider and passenger. However, its seat was criticised because the foam used in its construction was too soft and its contours were less than ideal for longer distances, eventually causing pain and pressure points.

Touratech's comfort seat eliminates these nagging problems on those longer trips. It has optimised contours, a top-quality foam core available in three different heights and is upholstered in anti-slip and sweat-resistant sand-coloured fabric.

This well-refined seat makes the Africa Twin a perfect enduro for both rider and passenger!

The high quality, multi-layer seat cover is equipped with a durable Fresh Touch surface coating. It reduces the surface temperature by significantly reflecting infrared light radiation and providing a cooler feeling when mounting a motorcycle parked in the sun.

How to measure the seat height of Touratech seats:

In order to compare the heights or Touratech seats with that of your motorbike, Touratech have specified the heights measured:

A. from the (original) footrest (removable foot rest rubbers not included) vertically

B. to the lowest point of the seat.

In this way you can compare the seats regardless of the model year, frame, frame adjustment and wheels and tyres fitted.

Touratech seats have been developed in close co-operation with Karl-Heinz Dorn (Kahedo). Karl-Heinz-Dorn and his team have been producing leather and textile sporty and technical products in Bisingen, at the foot of the Hohezollern Castle, since 1985. Production only takes place at the company site - made in Germany. These are the important features of Touratech seats:

• A special, expensively hand-worked foam core with a soft to player and a solid core ensures that force is distributed evenly and prevents wear.
• With most seats a pronounced hollow (depression) in the middle of the seat ensures that there is no pressure on the coccyx and weight is distributed perfectly over the whole seat.
• A proprietary developed bi-elastic covering material provides a better sense of security and inhibits sweat to a greater degree. The seat is perceptibly more comfortable.
• The seams are stuck and welded together to ensure that they are 100% watertight.
• Great care is taken to ensure that the seams are in positions that cannot cause any pressure points on the thighs and buttocks.
• Various seat heights are available.
