Standard TwinAir air filters consist of two layers of foam of different density specially designed for TwinAir. These two layers are flame-laminated and their resulting thickness is 15 mm.

The outer layer captures the largest dirt and the fine inner layer acts as a second filter and captures fine particles while maintaining maximum air permeability to the motorcycle's intake.

The shape of the TwinAir filters is based on the original filters and is modified for better air flow in the airbox and achieving ideal filter surfaces.
