Quick-Release, Easy Fitment

TurkanaGear’s adventure touring pannier mounting plate features a quick-release design that allows hassle-free installation and removal of HippoHips™ saddlebags. This system makes it easy to switch between different soft luggage options, whether for daily commuting or long-distance adventure travel.

The mounting plate is compatible with most standard OEM and aftermarket adventure motorcycle pannier racks, offering a highly versatile and universal fit.

Built for Adventure Riding

Lightweight yet nearly unbreakable, the Turkana mounting plate is ideal for demanding adventure and enduro riding. Installation is straightforward, and the system is designed to withstand the rigors of long-distance touring, off-road travel, and technical terrain.

With a weight of just 900 grams per plate, the system keeps overall luggage weight to a minimum. When combined with the HippoHips™ saddlebags (approximately 3 kg per side), the total weight per side remains under 4 kg. This low weight and slim profile help maintain excellent bike handling in tight, technical off-road conditions.

Adjustable and Configurable Design

The hard-mount plate features multiple attachment points and adjustable slots, allowing easy configuration to suit different pannier frame shapes and sizes. Riders can customize their setup to match their riding style and luggage needs.

Each plate also includes standard mounting points for Rotopax fuel or water canisters, as well as other accessories that share the same bolt pattern.

The mounting plates are manufactured from glass-filled, reinforced Nylon 6, delivering exceptional strength where it matters most. The innovative ribbed design reduces unnecessary weight while adding flexibility, ensuring durability without compromising performance.
