The Camel ADV Gut Guard Skid Plate for the KOVE 800X isn’t just another bolt-on bash plate—it’s a full-on riot shield for your engine and suspension. We didn’t baby this thing. It got absolutely abused in the sandstone hellscape of Utah’s Sand Hollow, pounded through the brutal ledges and slickrock of Moab, and then raced to a podium finish at the Desert 100.

The KOVE 800X, like many modern bikes, uses the engine as a stressed member—translation: no lower frame rails to mount to. That’s where our proven subframe mounting system comes in, borrowing engineering DNA from our Tuareg 660 and Pan America Gut Guards. The result? A mounting system that takes hits like a heavyweight boxer and shrugs them off.

⚠️ Note: This skid plate is not currently compatible with KOVE’s titanium decat race header. The larger outside diameter and forward positioning of the race header’s tubes interfere with fitment.
