The BMW engine crash bar on the R 1250 GS isn’t a proper crash bar until you fit the Touratech reinforcing strut! The additional supporting point is the key to providing maximum safety.

In terms of design and appearance, it perfectly matches the BMW engine crash bar on the GS since it is the same diameter and has an electropolished surface.

Made from sturdy 25 mm stainless steel tube, the reinforcing strut is very easy to fit thanks to a new fastening system.
