SKF has produced a revolutionary new fork seal kit design with two newly formulated proprietary NBR compounds optimized for specific sealing functions.
The co-molded manufacturing technology allows utilization of these compounds and features completely re-designed lips on the dirt scraper and the oil seal to enhance followability on the shaft and better exclusion for greatly improved protection against external contaminants ①
The new open wound garter spring ② allows mud to flow through the spiral for a stable radial load on the lip to optimize contact pattern to the shaft.
The new metal stamping for both dirt scraper and oil seal provide proper support to the sealing lips for optimal functionality ③.
The proprietary “super low friction” NBR compound is enhanced by the specifically designed lip ④ of the oil seal and has been developed to further reduce the friction and stick-slip under all operating conditions.
Testing
The Dual Compound Fork Seal significantly outperforms the competition and provides further protection improvement versus SKF’s own current product offering. The EXP disk is the magic ingredient behind the functionality and benefits of Rekluse auto clutches. About 10 years ago, Rekluse introduced an innovatively redesigned version of its revolutionary auto clutch technology with EXP 3.0. The years of racing, testing and development since have led to Rekluse’s most refined auto clutch experience yet; Introducing EXP 4.0.
Using principles of centrifugal force, EXP technology automatically engages and disengages the clutch based on engine RPM. With EXP, riders can start and stop without touching the clutch lever. EXP automatic clutch technology provides riders precision throttle control, maximum traction and confidence to maneuver any obstacle on the track, trail, or road.

Tunable to Fit Your Riding Style

To protect and extend the life of the basket, TorqDrive includes steel lining sleeves to eliminate basket wear and notching.
Friction Pad Design Aids Oil Flow and Reduces Drag
The result is clean disengagement at the lever, improved modulation, and improved clutch control. TorqDrive disks utilize a steel core, while OEM disks use aluminum. When heated, steel expands less than half the amount of aluminum. This means clutch fade is virtually eliminated.
Friction Material Provides Superior Grip and Durability
Through years of research and testing, we have identified the best friction material for motorcycle applications considering functionality, grip and durability.
