Touratech Dustrider Jacket – Light & Ventilated With Hydratex Waterproof Lightweight Membrane

Wow! What can we say.  Colour us impressed.  We first saw the all new Touratech Dustrider suits last year when it was in its prototype stage.  This is a huge transition for Touratech with this new, lightweight, breathable, comfortable suit.

It is so different from all other Touratech suits that you’ll be blown away when you try it on.

So, What Is The Suit & Why Is It So Different?

The Touratech Dustrider suit is made for travel addicted riders who seek adventure, without compromising airflow or weather protection, freedom of movement or high protections. The suit meets these requirements with a two shell solution, featuring valuable characteristics, such as waterproofness, mesh panels, pockets, and many more.

The Motorcycle Suit – The Airy Shell
Both jacket and pants are AA certified and are made of large mesh panels with an abrasion resistant construction.  All armour is included.

Ventilation:

• Large 3D-mesh panels on torso, sides, back and upper thighs.
• A double zipper on the cuffs with mesh inside allow more airflow while keeping the gloves tighten.
• Ventilation holes on the shoulder area give breathability to the collar area provided you’re not wearing a backpack or similar item.

High-Tech Materials:

• Abrasion resistant fabric
• 3D-mesh panels
• Strategic areas, such as the back of the legs are reinforced with ripstop fabric
• Inside the knees, leather is placed to ensure a good grip on tough ridings
• Anti-skid pads are gripping the seat to keep the right position.

Pockets:

• 8 pockets in the jacket:
  • 1 x chest pocket with mesh lining
  • 2 x water-resistant front pockets
  • 1 x arm pocket
  • 2 x inner pockets
  • 2 x back pockets – 1 of which is water-resistant

Armour:

• Seeflex Level-2 protectors on the shoulders and elbows
• Seesoft Air Level-2 protector on the back
• Elbow armour is adjustable.

Visibility:
To give you high visibility in darkness and bad weather, there are large reflective areas on the chest, arms and back, giving a high level of passive security.

Adjustability & Fit:

• The regular fit allows the air to flow through the suit and exhaust body heat.
• Two adjustable straps on the arms allow comfort adjustment and ensure the elbow armour sits securely.
• Stretchy fabric on the armholes gives a large range of motion.
• Sliders and velcro on the cuffs make it easy to put on and take off the jacket.
• At the waist, invisible elastic keeps the jacket in the correct position in any body posture.

Features:

• Long zipper to join jacket and pants.
• There is a water bag pocket with integrated water pipe exhaust in the back of the jacket, which allows you to carry most types of hydration pack and is also comparable with ith most neck brace systems).
• For additional comfort, the collar of the jacket is made of soft fabric.

The Rainwear – The Waterproof Shell
For colder or rainy days, the lightweight but waterproof jacket will keep you dry during bad weather. With its over/under concept, you can choose to wear the waterproof membrane on top of your jacket or under it. So, it’s great for wind protection under your jacket.

Membrane:

• The 3-layers laminated Hydratex membrane protects from wind and rain.

Pockets:

• The jacket has 3 waterproof pockets: two in the front and one on the chest.

How To Wear The Dustrider Suit

• The Dustrider suit is AA-certified according to the CE standards EN 17092-3:2020.
• With abrasion resistant large mesh panels and stretchy material it’s the perfect match for any adventure.
• Body armour can be removed if you prefer to wear an armoured vest. Under your jacket.
