Facet Fuel Pump

This fuel pump is a more robust replacement for the original Honda Fuel Pump which has been known to die after a few thousand miles. If your pump is ok then take one of these as a spare on your travels just in case. They don't take up much room.

The pump is a Facet Solid State pump which is know for its reliability as it is regularly used in Aircraft.

With Solid State Reliability that is proven on thousands of original equipment applications. No electrical contacts. No bearings or diaphragms to wear out or fatigue. Lasts four to five times longer than many other electric fuel pumps.

When properly installed a constant smooth and dependable supply of fuel under pressure is assured in the hottest weather or in high altitudes.

Self Priming. Fuel is supplied as soon as the ignition is turned on so the engine will start faster at colder temps.

The pump comes with an inlet and outlet union. Both are sized so that the Africa Twin's fuel pipe will push straight on with no modification.

The important bit! These pumps are brand new and are guaranteed by the manufacturer for 12 months. However if you follow the fitting instructions and fit it in the same way you will need to cut off the mounting lugs on the pump and this may invalidate your warranty.
