Centre Stand for Honda Africa Twin RD07/07A (93-03)

Thanks to Ruggedroads this well made stand made it safely to the USA.

I installed it in about an hour by sliding the lower link suspension bolt almost all the way out and positioned the stand easily onto the factory Honda frame mounts. The heavy return spring was a bit of a challenge at first but then I used a heavy duty #3 phillips to slide it it effortlessly into place.

The stand is very well built and has a nice powder coat finish. It functions as designed but does require some extra lift effort on rear of bike to get it up on stand compared to other motorcycles I own. This is a minor inconvenience that I will gladly put up with now that I can store my AT securly on a centre stand and simplify all my maintenance tasks!

I am very pleased and fully recommend it for function, quality, and very reasonable price.

Just a note to say this would not fit without removing the exhaust system and mine was so corroded that I had to order a new set of exhaust clips, bolts and gaskets before I could go ahead.

First impression was that it was well made.

Fitted it in an hour. If you cannot loosen and push out a suspension bolt that's in line with the stand pivots you will have to remove the exhaust system to install the stand. Then it'll take longer.

The stand works very well and tucks up out of the way nicely. Bike feels secure on the stand and back wheel is off the ground so chain maintenance is easy.

I'm happy and I'd recommend it.
