EXCEL TAKASAGO ADVENTURE RIMS

RK Excel rims are made of 7000 series alloy and are for many years used by almost all top riders. The RK Excel rim keeps on being the best, strongest and most used rim on the market.

• Excel Takasago Rims are the benchmark in offroad racing.
• Excel Adventure rims are designed to perform in the toughest terrain & rallies.
• Excel Takasago Rims can be laced to stock, other brands and our own Haan hubs.

HAAN ADVENTURE HUBS

The Haan Wheels hubs are 100% made in the Netherlands. The hubs are made from 1 piece billet 6082 T6 alloy on the newest CNC machines. Hubs are anodized and available in various colours.

• Hubs are CNC machined from 1 piece billet 6082 T6 alloy.
• Original ABS ring, brake disc and sprocket can be mounted on the hubs.
• Hubs are fitted with Koyo bearing, no special sizes but easy available bearings worldwide.
• Centre tube and spacer are made of 7075 hard alloy.
• Hubs are delivered with all mounting hardware.
• Haan Wheels hubs are available in Red, Blue, Gold, Black, Magnesium (Bronze) and Titanium.

HAAN ADVENTURE SPOKES

Our spokes are made from a special stainless steel and up to 30% stronger than OEM spokes. The spokes are made to measure in our factory, so we are able to make spoke kits for different brands and types and also for older bikes.

• Up to 30% stronger than original spokes.
• Spoke kits are supplied with matching nipples.

TUBELESS PROCESS

Complete Tubeless wheels for your Adventure Bike with Haan Wheels hubs and Excel rims.

We start with a first layer of special tape to prevent the Kit (lute) from getting into the nipples. This also makes sure you have enough adjustability, so that you can still adjust the spokes (nipples) a bit for to tighten or loosen the spoke tension.

Next, we use a specially designed machine to apply the special kit (lute), which we finish by hand. This Kit has been developed to withstand both high and low temperatures, while remaining flexible.

Finally we finish it with a special air-sealed tape, to make it completely sealed.

The tubeless process is not applicable for all rims (for example 21 x 1.85 front rim). Rims also need to be prepared with a safety hump to keep the tyre on it’s place.
