The Scotts Performance steering damper set for the TENERE 700 impresses with its extremely low weight, finest response and an ideal adjustment range with 25 possible clicks.

Even on fast tracks, the new steering damper ensures full control thanks to specially designed damping components and, thanks to the racing know-how from countless victories, shines with outstanding tuning behavior.

This exact steering damper is currently used successfully by many factory rally teams and also long-distance travel conversions.

The sub-mount steering damper kit for the Tenere 700 consists of a SCOTT's off-road type steering damper and the matching CNC-milled attachments.

The steering damper is installed below the new handlebar clamps on a holder CNC milled from solid material. The counter-holder, which is made of nickel-plated steel and is also milled and screwed to the frame, is responsible for absorbing the steering forces.

Thanks to an additional eccentric design of the handlebar clamps, the handlebars can be mounted in the original position or 10mm further away from the rider. The offset handlebar position is particularly advantageous when the pace is a little more forced and puts more pressure on the front wheel.

The steering damper gives the Tenere significantly greater stability and easier handling in off-road use. Handlebar slamming is effectively suppressed. Exactly what a large travel enduro like the Tenere needs.

The damper and the counterholder are completely screwed on, no welding is required! A complete dismantling is possible without any problems.

Not compatible with the large Acerbis tank. It is possible to heat the completely empty tank with a heat gun (no more petrol fumes in the tank either!) and deform it slightly so that the required clearance can be created.
