The rounded edges prevent damage to the boot soles, the open design allows clay and stones in the tread to fall through the foot pegs, while the boot profile has a sure hold on the peg. The slender design and outward chamfering allow for better ground clearance, which is a great asset when riding along deep ruts compared to regular enduro foot pegs or standard products.

The Touratech Works foot pegs have been specially strengthened at the mounting point, making them significantly less susceptible to impacts. The Works products are an optical highlight as well. Blasted stainless steel with a special laser inscription makes this product really stand out, as well as giving a visual indication of its noble origins in extreme enduro sport.

Serious damage, such as holes in the engine block, can be effectively prevented by fitting the large Touratech engine guard.

Maximum strength is provided by multiple folded ridges in the 4 mm thick aluminium base plate, while two additional lower 4 mm stainless steel attachment plates on the engine ensures the force of an impact is distributed over a large area via 6 bolting points. Ground clearance is not restricted by these two base plates.

Fitting instructions

Even when chunks of dirt are flying, you can ride through rough terrain secure in the knowledge that your headlamp should come to no harm. Touratech’s robust and effective headlamp guard, made of black anodised aluminium, is virtually indestructible, even to larger stones. 
If you don't need the guard, you can remove and refasten it in seconds due to the sophisticated quick release fastener.
