BUMOT is the only universal pannier system on the market - DEFENDER hard panniers or XTREMADA soft panniers on the same pannier frames without any additional modification on the frames!

XTREMADAs fit any BUMOT frames!

The capacity of the XTREMADAs Soft panniers is 66 litres plus each pannier has two x 2 litre pockets, making a total capacity of 74 litres:

• Lefthand pannier – 35 litres plus two 2 litre pockets 
• Righthand pannier – 31 litres plus two 2 litre pockets

The new XTREMADA Soft Panniers are made of two layers - 1100 denier Cordura by Dupont over 650 grams vinyl.

On the outside of each XTREMADA soft pannier there is a reinforced 3rd layer of Cordura plus a plastic plate which guarantees better abrasion resistance.

The attachment to the pannier frame is by the lockable quick release Defender system the same as on the hard panniers.

The strap system can also be used to secure a multitude of other items on the top of each XTREMADA soft pannier.

Dry-bag inserts inside each XTREMADA pannier feature a roll top closure that is secured with buckles - fully isolating the contents from the elements, and allowing easy opening and closure.

Reflective 3M strips on either side of the bags improve visibility and safety in low-light and nighttime riding conditions.

The Bumot Soft Panniers are constructed using a water resistant and hardwearing Cordura outer, and a fully waterproof inner bag, and mount to the pannier frames using the tried and tested 'puck' system.

Uniquely, the right hand bag is shaped to suit the exhaust cut-out of the frame, and gives the sytem a symetrical and balanced fitting.

If you already have the Bumot Defender Hard Pannier System on your CRF1000 Africa Twin, then you only need the bags, as they mount to your existing Bumot Pannier Frames

This soft luggage system is currently only compatible with the Bumot Pannier Racks.

For everything you need quickly to hand but that still requires the best protection - with practical sight window for operating multimedia devices.

This means all the available space can be used. The large main pocket is closed with a water-deflecting and dirt-proof zip closure. To make sure mobiles, etc. can be charged on the go, the bag comes with a water-proof E-Connect cable input. Integrated reinforcements, vibration-absorbing lining and complex two and three-layer structure provide stability under all conditions.

This bag is an evolution of our current handlebar bag, which is a big step by us towards water-proofing. We've swapped the top and the whole flap for water-deflecting truck tarpaulin material and welded the mobile phone pocket. This provides perfect protection for the mobile phone.
