Corrosion Block Grease has the same corrosion protection properties as ACF-50 but in grease form. Can be used as an assembly grease (for example did you know that the copper in copper grease corrodes alloy?) so use this for such things as engine/transmission cases, caliper bolts, wheel bearings, wheel axle bolts (which always seem to corrode), battery terminals, side and centre stands, foot pegs, brake and clutch lever pivots, etc. etc.

Corrosion Block is an anti-corrosion compound developed exclusively to stop existing corrosion and prevent new. It is unique in that it is designed for use in electrics and electronics as well as metals and structures. This makes this product essential for your day-to-day routine maintenance and as long-term asset protection for your boat/equipment within the harsh marine environment.

What will it actually do? It will, with regular applications, make maintenance easier and save you money, easier to clean, look better, help prevent surface/structural/electrical corrosion related failure thereby increasing reliability and it will increase the bike’s value. It will significantly reduce your replacement, repair and labour expenses. That’s what it will actually do!

The Facts:
• KILLS existing corrosion
• PREVENTS new from forming
• Long lasting LUBRICANT
• APPROVED for ELECTRONICS
• Non-Toxic & Environmentally Friendly

Where to use it

Corrosion Block is simply applied to the structure, joints and welds, i.e. under hidden areas, where the corrosion works away un-noticed, under panels and on hidden parts of the engine, gear boxes, generators, switch panels and avionics, especially on outboard engines where it will work hard to prevent corrosion and structural degeneration. Where corrosion is already evident it will help inhibit further progress by insulating and electrically ‘switching off’ the corrosion cell. It will also penetrate around bolts, screws and hardware, protecting them from electrolytic corrosion and preventing seizure.

It will protect electrical joints, plugs and components and prevent corrosion causing high resistance joints. This goes for PCB’s and electronics as well, such as computerised ignition and fuel control units and their multi pin plugs, radio’s, radar and antenna’s, while switches, controls and levers will all be lubricated as well as protected from corrosion. It does not affect the working of electrical or electronic components however keep it off LCD’s. Multi pin plugs and connectors benefit from having Corrosion Block applied directly to the contacts. Corrosion Block has restored many a failed electronic/electrical component. It’s uses are unending, you will love it!

Red Rubber Grease is essential in the rebuild of your brake calipers

Rubber without lubrication dries out, hardens, cracks and breaks. If affected by petrol or if lubricated with petroleum-based grease, it swells, loses its shape and does not do the work as intended. When in contact with moving parts, it wears out from friction (e.g. an O-ring against a brake caliper or cylinder piston, a dust boot against a clutch plunger) and also may rupture. And, finally, during assembly, it is hard to push a piece of dry rubber into a casing and even more so to slide one rubber part onto another.

To help in all of the above situations red rubber grease (RRG) was developed. Being a vegetable oil based lubricant this grease does not harm rubber and can be used for its protection, lubrication and preservation. It can also be a great help during assembly of units containing parts made of natural or synthetic rubber and even plastic (installing bushings, for example).

Because of a unique combination of two of its qualities: natural rubber compatibility and brake fluid compatibility the main use of RRG is in hydraulic brake/clutch applications.

What is the main purpose of RRG?
Preserving natural rubber parts, lubricating rubber to rubber or rubber to metal contacts, helping in assembly of units containing rubber parts.

RRG uses.
Because of the qualities mentioned above, RRG is ideal for use in hydraulic systems, namely, hydraulic brakes and clutches or shock absorbers, pneumatic systems containing rubber parts (e.g. O-rings, seals).

In contrast to regular automotive lubricants that are petroleum-based, RRG is vegetable oil based (red dye is added for identification purposes) - this is the reason why it's "rubber friendly". Being that, RRG can be used where ever natural rubber is used in your motorbike.

Here is a comprehensive list of RRG properties:
• Fully compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers
• Compatible with brake fluids and some hydraulic oils.
• Rust inhibitor (protects from oxidation and rust).
• RRG is water resistant.
• High temperature. The grease can be used in applications with temperatures up to 210-230F. It will not melt and will not contaminate brake pads.
• Petrol resistant. Although it will get contaminated in contact with petrol, RRG will still protect rubber parts from it.
• High chemical and structural (mechanical) stability.
• High resistance against water washing (will stay on after rain, or car wash).
• Has high wear protecting quality.

ACF-50

ACF-50 is one of the best inventions for protecting your bike against road salt and grime. There are many aerosol cans available but we use the refillable pump action spray bottle when treating our bikes. This means you can get the ACF-50 where you want it much more accurately and you aren't wasting any spraying it all over the place. We prefer the ACF-50 as you don't need to keep reapplying it over the winter months.

What's included in the price:
- 1 quart bottle of ACF-50 (that's just under a litre).
- A refillable pump action spray bottle.
- Full usage instructions.

What is it? ACF-50 (Anti-Corrosion Formula) is an aerospace product that is now available to motorcyclists. Its aviation approval is MIL-SPEC 81309 Type II and III, which means it is approved for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electrical systems and electronic components.

It is a VERY sophisticated type of ‘thin film’ water displacement product designed as a corrosion prevention and inhibiting compound for the harsh environmental conditions associated with aircraft operation with the added advantage that it will stop existing corrosion and is slow to deteriorate (it has a 12 to 18 month active life). It is also a very efficient penetrant without loosening structural attachments (a bit disastrous on an aircraft or motorcycle) and an excellent lubricant without having any high-pressure (HP) lubricants, wax, silicon or Teflon additives (which actually seal in moisture thereby aggravating and perpetuating the corrosion process). It is ‘pro-active’, neither passive nor waxy, is compatible with most plastics and rubbers is EXTREMELY ECONOMICAL IN USE - AND CONTAINS NO WATER.

Its uses on motorcycles are very similar to those on aircraft. Sprayed into the structure, joints and welds i.e. under the tank and seat, frame and steering head area (where the corrosion works away un-noticed), under panels and on hidden parts of the engine, radiators, engine cases, forks, calipers, wheels, anywhere on the bike really because it will work hard to prevent corrosion and structural degeneration. Where corrosion is already evident it will help inhibit further progress by insulating and electrically ‘switching off’ the corrosion cell. It will also penetrate around bolts, screws and hardware protecting them and preventing seizure.

Exposed engine and gearbox cases, swinging arms, forks and other exposed parts will benefit from ACF-50’s thin film technology by not corroding, will stay looking good and will clean up easily after a salt laden ride. It is also excellent on black plastic trim without leaving the residue of silicon.

It will protect electrical joints, plugs and components and prevent corrosion causing high resistance joints. This goes for PCB’s and electronics as well, such as computerised ignition and fuel control units and their multi pin plugs, while switches, controls and levers will all be lubricated as well as protected from corrosion. Multi pin plugs and connectors benefit from having ACF-50 applied directly to the contacts.

What will it actually do? It will, with regular applications; make maintenance easier and save you money, make the bike easier to clean, look better, help prevent surface/structural/electrical corrosion related failure thereby increasing reliability and it will increase the bike’s value. That’s what it will actually do!

How to use it! Being designed for aircraft it has a non-flammable propellant so when cold it sprays like shaving foam.

• Keep the tin warm and shake it really well before use to activate the propellant.
• Give the area the lightest coating/spray you can, enough so that when it creeps it will cover all.
• It really does creep, so caution with calipers or it will creep on to the pads.
• Also use a rag and spread it over the areas sprayed, the rag gets impregnated and then spreads it further.
• Under the tank and hidden areas it will last up to a year, (at least a year in plugs and switches).
• Exposed areas such as forks, the front of the engine, wheels and calipers; I just re-treat as necessary.
• You can tell if it is still active because any water will ‘bead’ on contact.
