All modern motorcycles run relatively lean to meet current emissions legislation, which is exacerbated once you start adding aftermarket silencers and headers.

This is particularly evident with the CRF1000 Africa Twin - as even with the stock silencer, catalytic converter, and headers - the bike is set up to run lean.

The BoosterPlug is accepted worldwide, as a brilliant and affordable way to cure the fueling problems that haunts all modern fuel injected Motorcycles.

No need to spend a small fortune on complicated multi adjustable electronic devices like the Power Commander + endless Dyno hours, to make your bike run as it should have from the factory.

The BoosterPlug is installed in less than 10 minutes. It plugs directly into your bike's wiring harness using original connectors – no cutting or splicing.

Too good to be true ?

A lot of Plug and Play devices will promise wonderful results, but unfortunately most of them are pure Snake Oil.

How does it work then ?

• If you can trick the Fuel Injection ECU to think the ambient air temperature is lower than the actual readings, the ECU will richen up the injected mixture by a certain amount.
• The correct enrichment will greatly improve the driveability of your bike - Basically, it is done by adding some extra resistance to the Air Intake Temperature Sensor, and the method have been tested thoroughly by many independent sources and it actually works. No magic involved.... 

• BUT, the Air Intake Temperature Sensor is not a linear output device, and if you just add a fixed serial resistor like in the picture above, the performance of your device will vary a lot with changes in ambient temperature.
• See the poor performance of the serial resistor in the chart below.

This is what other Plug and Play devices do, and that's actually why they fail: Typically, they are made to perform well in 20 degrees Celsius (Ambient air temperature), but this will make the bike run lean in 10 degrees, and rich in 30 degrees.

Most of the competitor device manufacturers don't bother to inform you about this, or they may not even know what their device does.....
Others will try to hide the problem with a lot of pseudo-technical talk and fancy buzz words.

The intelligent solution !

• The BoosterPlug is the only Plug and Play device that offers a stabilized enrichment of the mixture in different ambient temperatures. 
• To do this, the BoosterPlug is using an extra temperature sensor (and a few other components), that will work in cooperation with the original Air Intake Temperature Sensor.

• Sounds pretty easy, but the calculations to get it right are rather difficult. 
• See the actual performance of the BoosterPlug on the chart below. Note that the enrichment is the same regardless of ambient temperature.
• ​​You'll notice that the horizontal line drifts a little in really extreme temperatures, but it's really insignificant. 
• This is actually a very good result

This all new KOSO Mini3 Dual Temperature gauge will allow you to monitor both your oil and water temperatures, or even the ambient temperature

Measuring only 60 x 30 x 11.5mm the neat compact design can be mounted on any flat surface using the adhesive pad supplied in the box.

Its functional waterproof design means it can be safely fitted to you bike.

The operating range for each mode is 0-120c and the display flashes when the maximum temperature has been reached.

The unit is 12 volts DC and has a white back light for added clarity.

Dynojet Auto Tune kit for Power Commander V

Product Overview

Don’t have a dyno tuning center nearby?  Are you more of a D.I.Y. (do it yourself) type? 

If you answer "yes" to any or all of the questions above, then our Auto Tune kit is for you. The Dynojet Auto Tune kit is an "add on" accessory that can be used with any of our Power Commander V’s.

It connects to the PCV with a single cable and requires only a ground and +12 volt connection to be made to install. If your exhaust does not already have one, a "weld in" O2 sensor bung is included.

"Well, how does it work and what does it do for me?"

We have taken virtually the same technology that our patented Tuning Link dynamometer software (for automated Dyno tuning) uses, along with Bosch Wide Band O2 sensors and miniaturized it to be used on your bike, ATV, or UTV, while you ride.

Once installed, the Auto Tune kit monitors the fuel mixture (by installing the included Wide Band O2 sensor in the exhaust). It then sends this information to the Power Commander V and automatically corrects it while you ride. Each map that we offer has preset Air/Fuel ratio values included that we find to be the best overall settings. This lets you simply plug in the unit and let it do the work. 

For advanced users that would like to change the Air/Fuel ratios from our baseline they are fully adjustable. Each throttle opening/rpm combination is individually adjustable, so that you can have both fuel economy, during cruise, while maintaining peak output at larger throttle openings. For most models of bikes it is also possible to adjust the Air/Fuel ratios "per gear". This gives you total control of the fueling in every gear and throttle/rpm area if required.

The Auto Tune kit can be configured to run and correct at all times or by using the "map switch port" on the PCV. You can set it up so that you can switch back and forth between the tuning modes and the base map settings. You can also configure the Auto Tune kit to wait until the bike is at a certain operating temperature before beginning to make adjustments.
